I am an UK qualified professional accountant working in top level for last 15 years. I am working for government autonomous corporation named Bangladesh Sugar & Food Industries Corporation. Though I am working as a chief financial officer larger amount of my time spend for procurement decision. In my team I am enjoy to contribute my valuable observation in procurement process. In our country we exercised PPR-2008 for public procurement. I have about 16 years’ working experience in various diversified organizations with the responsibilities of managing purchase, procurement, contracts & agreements, procurement, budgeting, human resources management, office administration, company secretariat department, billing & credit control, customer relationship management, education management etc. In my future career endeavors, I would like to work in the procurement sector, especially in public procurement sector. Hence, I want to equip myself with strong knowledge of public procurement rules, guidelines, documents, policies, and procedures of Governments and international development organizations along with a thorough experience of the complete procurement cycle from procurement planning to contract management. CPPP has given me the basic opportunity to do that. There is a rising demand for public procurement professionals in the public sector. The course will definitely help to meet the demand for skilled procurement professionals. The participants will be able to understand the basic rules and regulations regarding procurement, methods of procurement for Goods, Works and Services in the public sector.
